Project Info

Built around 1890, Apartment W I in Vienna reveals its grandeur through an opulent stateroom with very high ceilings. A modern cube serves as a room divider between the bedroom and bathroom, providing a clear structure while maintaining an open feel. The old suspended ceilings were removed to reveal the original stucco, which was carefully restored along with the swing doors. Those who enter discover something new around every corner, both historically preserved and newly presented.

Angular clarity and minimalist lines: In the bedroom, stucco ornamentation meets cool marble, while the glazed bathroom with its inner courtyard view and velvety curtains exudes Parisian flair. Brass door handles, seals and other decorative elements complement the elegant interplay of marble and Alcantara, creating an understated yet luxurious space full of character.
